While my daughter was in an all-day ballet workshop, I entertained myself in nearby Frederick, MD. It's probably been 10 years since I've been in downtown Frederick and the shopping and restaurant scene is more vibrant than ever. Steeped in civil war history, it's also full of historic homes. Aren't the planters above fabulous with the flambeau finials?
Certified as largest and oldest Gingko Tree of it's kind in the U.S.
This reminds me of a village lane in England.
So good it deserves a closer look.
