While some interior design books serve as how-to's, Beyond Chic does something entirely different. It inspires and pauses you to think that maybe an interior is more than designing and decorating, however challenging and artful that pursuit may be. Maybe there's a third dimension as an equal partner - the expression of the spirit of the occupant's personality and being. I know you've heard that before but Beyond Chic warrants it being said again. In this book, you'll get a glimpse of some of the most iconic artists of fashion, such as Yves Saint Laurent, Blahnik, Missoni and Chanel, and be treated to an inside look at the expression of themselves through their homes and the sumptuous photography by Ivan Terestchenko that captures it all.
